The predecessor KM-78A was introduced as the pioneer of fully automatic cellophane overwrapping machine manufactured in Hongkong. To cope with the advance in multimedia technologies, machines for video cassettes, standard and slim CD jewel boxes, as well as DVD Amaray cases have been added along with the original audio cassette wrapper.
